Back Injury Turns Man
Into Successful Salesman
FRANCIS SNYDER
A broken vertebrae three years
ago that snapped while employed
at the Woyerhacuser plant, has
limited activity and many types
of work (or Francis Snyder. He is
now employed at the Joe Fisher
Used Car lot on South Seventh
Street.
Strenuous activity and hard

the question for Snyder since
- that day the injury sent him to a
hospital for extensive repairs.
While his condition is improv
ing, the mending process is a
slow one. In recent months he1
has been uroving his capacity as
a salesman and is an outstanding
example of the use of a handi
capped person in business.
He is brought to the attention
of the public through Hire Han
dicapped Persons Week. Oct. 6-13.
Snyder. 37, is married and the
fattier of (our young children,
Francis Jr., 5, Debra Ann, 4, Lar
ry William, 2lj, and Teresa Lynn,
18 months.
Mrs. Snyder (Barbara) is em
ployed at Klamath Valley Hospi
tal. Snyder, a native of Klamath
Falls, attended Sacred Heart High
School. His parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Frank W. Snyder, live at 3149
Cortez, this city.
