Marchant, former residents of Bo
nanza, observed their golden wed-'
ding anniversary July 7 at their
home in Grants Pass. The occa
sion also served as a family re
union with all six of their chil
dren present. One daughter, Mrs.
Herman i Hazel fcnscn. came'
from Perham, Minn., for the open
house.
Also coming from out-of-town
was another daughter, Mrs. John
i Pearl i Tjoclker, Myrtle Creek,
and a son. Ray Marchant, Bel-
lingham, Wash.
Three daughters live in Giants

Lean, Mrs. Charles (Dorothy)
Martin and Mis. Ray (Beatrice)
Jones.
The Marchants' daughter-in-law
and five sons-in-law were also
present.
Mr. and Mrs. Marchant have
17 grandchildren and one great
grandchild.

A nuptial high mass July 6 at
Holy Cross Catholic Church in
Tulelake united in marriage Ona
Lee Terry of that community
and Dennis Wayne Russell. Father
John Dowling officiated.
The bride is the daughter ol
Mr. and Mrs. Jolin V. Terry ol
Tulelake. The bridegroom, son ol
Paul Morton Russell. Iiulio,
Calif., is presently stationed at
Kingslcy Field.
Colors of the rainbow were
chosen by the bride for the theme
of the morning ceremony.. Mixed
garden flowers were used for ef
fective decorations in the theme.
John Terry gave his daughter
in marriage. Her bridal gown
was princess style in white lace.
Seed pearls and sequins accented
the front of the litted bodice
which had a scalloped Sabrina
neckline dipping to a V in back
Rosettes added back interest to
the bouifant floor length skirt.
Tlie fingertip illusion veil was
secured by a contoured crown of
scalloped lace and pearl hearts
with satin inserts. She carried a
white missel topped with a spray
of pink rosebuds and stcphanotis
streamers. Something old was a
handkerchief borrowed from Mrs.
Betty Gatler: something new.
her dress; something blue, the
garter, and something borrowed,
her veil. A lucky 1944 penny was
in her slipper.
In keeping with the rainbow
color theme were the bridal
attendants' outfits. Shelia Ann
Simon, cousin of the bride, was
maid of honor, wearing a light
pink taffeta frock. Bridesmaids
were Barbara Roberts, K a t h y
Anderson and J e r r i e Hanna.

Their taffeta dresses were blue,
orchid and green. All wore white
veiled headbands and white slip
pers. Pearl necklaces were fills
of the bride. Carnations in com
plementary shades were bouquets
for the girls.
Shirley Louise Terry, sister
the bride, was flower girl. Site r '
wore a pale yellow taffeta dress
and carried a bouquet similar to
the attendants'.
Mrs. Terry was dressed in
beige lace with matching acces
sories and corsage of roses.
Joseph Lipomi was best man
and Randolph Rizzo. Ben Hagan
and Dennis Roskon were ushers.
All are from Kingsley Field.
Douglas Davis, cousin of the
bride, was ring bearer.
Mrs. Robert Baker was organ
ist. Mrs. William O'Keelfe, New
ell, sang "The Lord's Prayer"
and "Ave Maria."

Susan Kline attended the guest

Barbara Roberts, Kathy Ander
son. Mrs. Raymond Simon and
Sheila Simon.
The new Mr. and Mrs. Russell
spent their honeymoon in Southern
California and Mexico. They will
make their home in Tulelake
