British Sex Story Spreads
LONDON (DPI) Two new de
velopments emerged in Britain's
ec and security scandal Saturday
as Dr. Stephen A. Ward readied
a '"Ho names barred" defense for
hit; vice trial, which opens Monday.
An Athens newspaper reported
it has learned the identity of a
top British government oflicial
who allegedly attended a wild sexj
party wearing only a mask, apron
and shoes. It identified (lie off i
cial by name.
And an attorney tor a miss-i
ing witness" in the Ward trial I
w hich threatens to "blow the top
off London's upper crust society

The afternoon newspaper Niki
(Victory) publislicd a story froml
its London correspondent, naming
the now infamous masked waiter
assertedly involved in Britain's
sex and security scandal as a
member of Prime Minister Har
old Macmillan's government.
The correspondent credited as
his source a "young and most
beautiful English girl, the daugh
ter of a lord permanently staying
in India. Sh is well-known in
English high society because of
her scandalous love affairs and
who repeatedly participated in
Mayfair sex parties and who wants
to hide behind the name of -
which is also her artistic pseu
donym."
The newspaper said its corres-l
pondent is believed to be the firstl
British journalist who discovered
the masked waiter's identity. It
said he checked his information

members of Parliament confirmed
that the name of the British offi
cial is being whispered in lobbies
They assured him, the newspap
er said, the opposition Labor Party
will strongly criticize the govern
ment in Parliament after Scotland
