Marriage
Is Announced
Mrs. Richard (Mary) Maxwell
and Chester L. Irving were mar
ried May 31 in St. Mary's Episco
pal Church in Winnemucca. Nev.
The Rev. T. K. Kerstetter of
ficiated at the double ring ceremony.
Mr. and Mrs. Irving will make
their home in Klamath Kalis.

bridegroom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Estin Kigar, this city,
traveled to Mexico for the ceremony.

Mexico City was the setting for
the April wedding of Martha Ca
brcra of that city and Estin Ki
ger Jr. of Klamath Fails. The
bride is the daughter of General
and Mrs. Manuel Cabrera. The
bridegroom Is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Estin Kiger.
The civil ceremony was held
at the Cabrera home on April 26
with 12 witnesses present and the
immediate family, relatives and
neighbors. The religious ceremony
was held April 27 at 6:30 in the
evening in the Sacristy of the
Metropolitan Cathedral with the
Ilcv. Father Dunstan Stout offici
ating. The lengthy civil ceremony
was entirely in Spanish, but out
of courtesy to the bridegroom':
parents, an English speaking priest
was obtained and the religious
ceremony was entirely in English
The bride wore a pearl satin
dress with a double train Uned in
the tame materlat. tSatln embroi
dered leaves of the same color
covered the front of Uie dress
from bodice to hemline. Her veil
dusted in powder to match her
dress, was held in place by
crystal tiara. The tiara was de
signed and made by the bride
groom. It matched the garland of
crystal beads made to entwine the
couplo during part of the cere
mony. Her only jewelry were sil
ver and diamond eardrops which
her mother had worn at her own
wedding. Only the bride had flow
ers at the religious ceremony. She
carried a bouquet of pearl white
roses with the stems encased in
silver tube. Orchids were worn
by all the ladies attending the
civil ceremony the evening before.
A dinner dance reception was
held at 9 p.m. that evening at the
Salon "Corinto." The couple left
the following day for an Acapulco
honeymoon.

in Fremont Methodist Church by
the Rev. Dallas McNeil, who
was at one time pastor of the
First Methodist Church in this
City.
For the ceremony, tlie bride
chose a champagne colored chif
fon street length dress with
matching hat and shoes. On a
white prayer book she carried
a white orchid. She was given in
marriage by her son, James Mc-

Mr. and Mrs. Miller spent their
honeymoon in Hawaii end will
make their home in Vancouver
where he is owner of a cleaning

her home in Medford.

BETROTHED A late August wedding is planned for
Louise 8orgialli, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. L. F, Borgialli,
Klamath Falls, and Robert Kuoll son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred
Knoll, Burlingame, Calif. The bride-to-be it a senior stu
dent at Southern Oregon College and will complete her
education through San Francisco State College this fall.
Her fiance is a graduate of SOC and it employed in
insurance claims work. The young couple will make their
home on the San Francisco peninsula.

Haines, Ore., announce the forthcoming marriage of their
daughter, Marilyn Kay, to Gerald D. Del Fatti of Baker.

Methodist Church in Baker. The future bride is presently

Before the altar of the North
Bend First Christian Church, the
Rev. John Piper, on Saturday
evening, June 1, otliciatcd at a
nuptial service in which Marylea
Oswalt of that city became the
bride of Robert Marcum, the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Mar
cum of Klamath Falls.
The bride is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Theodore Oswalt. She
was given in marriage by her
father. She designed and fash
ioned her wedding gown with floor
length organza over taffeta skirt
and lace bodice which was closed
in back with tiny satin buttons
and waist bow. The lace was re
peated in appliques on the skirt.
The elbow length veil was held in
place with a headpiece of small
leaves studded with seed pearls.
She carried a bouquet of pink
rosebuds and white carnations.
Maid of honor, Penny Signal
ness. North Bend, wore an aqua
blue crystallette frock made with
scoop neckline and bell skirt. Her
headdress was a net bowl with
brief veil.
Bridesmaids were Mrs. Robert
Hearth, sister of Uie bridegroom,
and Mrs. Gary Breneman, Klam
ath Falls. They were dressed
like the honor attendant and car
ried bouquets of pink daisies.
Flower girls Kathy and Joanne
McKay, cousins of the bride, wore
dresses of pink nylon organdy. I
Linda Marcum, Coquille, cousin
of the bridegroom, and Linda Edd,
North Bend lighted the candles.
Their pink crystallette frocks were
similar to the bridal attendants.
Best man was Gary L. Brene
man, Klamath Falls. Ushers were
Robert Heath, brother-in-law of
the bridegroom, this city, and
Robert Hollenbeck. Corvallis.
The bride's mother wore a gray
suit with white accessories and a
corsage ot pink rosebuds and
white carnations. The bride-
groom's mother chose a green
suit with beige and white acces
sories and an identical corsage.
Organ wedding music was
played by Mrs. Murriel Soller.
Carolyn Gould sang "O Perfect
Love." "The Wedding Prayer"
and "Walk Hand in Hand."
For traveling, the bride wore a
I mint green wool suit with beige
and green accessories.
Presiding at the guest book was
Suzanne Wilson, Salem, and at the
gift table, Marcella Radford and
Mrs. Jack Christofferson.
Assisting at the reception were
Mrs. C. B. McKay, aunt of the
bride, Mrs. Harry Arneson, Mrs.
Roy Marcum, Coquille, aunt of
the bridegroom, Mrs. Milton Fox,
Mrs. Loren McKay and Mrs. Rob
ert Hollenbeck, Corvallis.

Klamath Falls were Mr. and Mrs.
Everett Jones, Mr. and Mrs.
Charles F. Johnson and Jean and
Carol.
The couple were graduated from
Oregon Slate University on June
2. T"ie bride received her degree
in secretarial science and the
bridegroom, chemical engineering.
They will make their first home
in Canoga Park, Calif., where he
will work as chemical engineer in
research for Rocketdyne, a divi
sion of North American Aviation.
