dinner dance was sieged recently in the Round Table Room of the Winema Hotel with arrangements
made by Mrs, Kenneth Hill and Mrs, John Negrevski. Honored guests were the past officer shown

Girl of the Year awards were given to a representative of each local chapter
of Beta Sigma Phi at the annua! banquet honoring Founder's Day, held this year in the
Modoc Room of the Winema Hotel. Jenes Moty was mistress of ceremonies.
The seven Girls of the Year, wearing corsages and holding chapter gifts, are
shown at right. Left to right are Louise Mac en, Xi Beta Eta; Erva Brooks, Xi Alpha Theta;
Vi Basey, Xi Delta; Dotty Bragg, Delta Preceptor; Shirley Tockey, Kappa; Mavis Dick,
Tau, and Rita Backa, Beta Phi.
New city council officers installed the same evening are pictured below, left to
right, Barbara Kimes, corresponding secretary; Marie Wryn, treasurer; Doralyn Bocchi,
vice president, and Lueila Murphy, president. Helen Crapo will be recording secretary.
