blandly that shedding or "fluff
ing" is natural. It is simply the
short ends of fibers hailing up on
the surface of the rug,
and does not indicate the rug is
rapidly wearing away. To cheer
us, they say that the more luxur
ious the rug, the longer it will
hed. Soma consolation!
; After months of fussing with a
molting rug, I have data which

thick, deep-piled carpets to shed
more than hard or tightly twisted
