to James L. Maryott. Presently, they are attending Ore
gon State University where the future bride is a sopho-
mora majoring in business. She is a member of Kappa

..James A, Maryott, Corvallis, and is a graduate of Oregon
:i State University. He is working on his master's degree in

Theta Rho - Meet Held
Stage Tea
Under umbrellas filled with
wisteria Klamath Falls Sojour
ners held their annual spring tea
entitled April Showers in the
Pine Grove Room of the Willard
Hotel on Saturday, April 6. Ap
proximately 83 members and
guests were present for the af
fair.
Cards started at 1 p.m. and
individual table prizes were
awarded to the winners. Pastel
tallies with gold umbrellas were
made by Mrs. Brooks Dicker
man. The special prize was won
by Mrs. C. Davis.
The tea table was beautifully
set with silver and decorated by
Mrs. Jack Holt with an umbrella
filled with hydrangeas. Presiding
at the tea table were Mrs. Otto
Biber, president, Mrs. Paul Meier,
vice president and past presi
dents, Mis. John Ferm, Mrs.
Wayne Horton. Mrs. F. W. Car
ter and Mrs. Ted Bechtel.
Following the tea a fashion
show was presented by the
Bon Bazaar and the Fashion Vil
la. Katy Lake was the common
tator and Mrs. Vernon Neet pro
vided the background music
Models were members of Sojour-
ners.
Mrs. G. L. Crowe was chairman
of the committee and Mrs. Hal
Rotrock was co-chairman. They
were assisted by Mrs. Brooks
Diekerman, Mrs. Gus Vlahos,
Mrs. Jack Holt, Mrs. Karl Nash,
Mrs. Earl Votaw, Mrs. W. D.
Dryden, Mrs. L. D. Jones and
Mrs. Wayne Jenison.
Plans are now under way for
Medford Day to be held in May.

The traveler sails aboard the
Queen Mary on April 30. Upon
arrival at Southampton, England,
she will start on the 45-day land
tour of 15 European countries
including Holland, Belgium, Ger
many, Switzerland, Austria,
France, Rome, Portuoal. Snain
and Monaco.
Katherine will leave the planned
tour in France to go to Ireland
for a month's stay with relatives
and friends. The first of August
she will sail for home on the
SS America.

The bridal gown was of silk
faced peau de soie with French
Chantilly lace and seed pearl trim
and was fashioned with long
sleeves and detachable chapel
train. The bride wore a lace man
tilla, purchased by the bridegroom
ir Faris. With her bouquet of white
orchids, white roses and stephan-
otis, she carried a white rosary
which had been carried by the
bridegroom's mother at her wed
ding, and a white Venetian lace
handkerchief. Her only jewelry
was a pearl drop- necklace, gift

Mrs. Krueger wore for the oc
casion an aqua blue brocade
dress with black accessories and
orange rose corsage. Mr. and
Mrs. Unruh were unable to at
tend their daughter's wedding.
Following the wedding, a buffet
dinner was served to 40 guests in
the Polynesian decorated Pavil
ion Room in Arlington.
The bride's going away outfit
was a black and white check suit,
black accessories and the orchid
from her bridal bouquet as a cor
sage. The newlyweds will take
their honeymoon in November
when they plan a trip to Europe
