When your opponents reach
game on such simple bidding as
one no-trump, three no-trump you
must make a blind lead.
Any lead you mpke is likely
to be w rong, but if you ask your
self, "How can 1 beat this
hand?" you are likely to come
up with a w inner.
Look at the West hand. You
have only two points, but your
partner should have a lot more.
Find his suit and you may wind
up with a profit. His suit is
most likely to be hearts, hut he
needs a really good suit to got
anywhere. On the other hand if
he has spades your queen will
help him and a spade lead is
clearly indicated.
You lead the deuce of spades
and are delighted when your part
ner takes the ace and leads back
the five.
South is most unhappv. If he
is clairvoyant he can still mane
the hand by going up with the
king of spades and knocking out
the are of hearts, but he doesn't
know that you have led from
three to the queen. He will surely
finesse the jack.
You take your queen and lead
back the six. Eventually, your
partner will get in with the ace
of hearts and cash two more
spade tricks. .

Skip the sulphur and molasses
get a CHEVROLET SUPER SPORT
Chevrolet Super Sports have a charm that soothes
your springtime yen for romantic adventure as fast
as you can slip into a bucket seat (Especially
the Jmpala's, with its adjustable now Comfortilt
steering wheel.) And the charm lasts all year round.
Match that, old-time tonics! In fact,
match that, anybody! Front bucket
seats are a great start, but Super Sports
also feature plush all-vinyl interiors,
special interior-exterior trim in taste
ful touches, and a veritable feast of
goodies we call performance options.
A modest enough phrase to describe
tailored-to-your-taste-action, from
brisk to utterly overwhelming.
Chevrolet and Chevy II Super Sports
invite adventure in convertible or coupe form. Think
that's all? You don't know Chevrolet! That same
Super Sport zing applies to the Corvair Monza
Spyder, very breezy with its air-cooled 150-horse-power
rear-mounted engine, 4-speed shift and an
outlook made for green country lanes.
Ditto for the new Corvette Sting Ray,
a magnificent thoroughbred among
pureblood sports cars with not a single
sacrifice in comfort. Both Spyder and
Sting Ray come in coupe or convert
ible styles. All Chevrolet Super Sports
are like spring days you've got to get
out in them to savor them. So catch
yourself a passing zephyr and waft on
down to your Chevrolet showroom.
