Berry of Bly celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary
on Oct. 6.

BLY Mr. and Mrs. Oliver C.
Berry celebrated their 5ah wed
ding anniversary on Saturday.
Oct. 6. They were married in
1907 in Modoc County at Davis
Creek, Calif. Both were born in
Modoc County and have lived'
their entire lives in Oregon and
California.
Mrs. Berry is the daughter of
Theodore and Laura Essex Re
mer and her husband is the son

der of Job's Daughters, met Mon
day evening. Oct. 15. with Hon
ored Queen Cheryl Ball and her
officers in charge.
Honored guests were Mrs. Liz
zie Mac Terrell, past grand guar
dian of the slate of Kansas, past
guardian of Bethel No. 6. Good
land. Kan., and past honored
queen of Bethel No. 6; Genevieve
Swift, royal matron of Friend
ship Court. Order of Amaranth,
and Kitty Hanvlllc, past guardian
of nethel No. 61.
Fathers were special guests and
refreshments and a cake walk
were features of the evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Berry are semi
retired, but still care for their
home in Bly and each year raise
a large garden.

National Osteopathic College
scholarships sponsored bv the
auxiliary to the American Osteo
pathic Association.
The $1,500 scholarships arc
awarded on the basis on compet
itive financial need, scholarship,
motivation and personality.
Paul Munson is in the first year
class at Kirskville College of Os
teopathy and Surgery in Kirks
ville. Mo. He is a graduate of
KUHS and Central Washington
State College. He and his wife.
