exchanged wedding vows in a dou
ble ring ceremony at Calvary
Temple Church. The Rev. Oliver
Foth officiated. Bouquets of deep
red antherium and greens created
a garden setting against white
walls and pillars of the grass cov
ered platform.
Organist was Forrest Beiser. Se
lections were sung by a duo, For
rest and Ollie Beiser; a trio, For
rest and Ollie Beiser and Marge
Fetrow, and a quartet, Ann Chap
man, Beverly Silber, Edwin Loftin
and Dick Foth.

shower given for her at the Stan
Solus home in Yreka, with Terry
Solus and Jean Meamber, sister1
of the new- bride, sharing hostess
duties.
Late summer flowers decorated
the party rooms for the event, and
the bridal theme was carried out
with a wedding cake, topped with
the traditional miniature bride and
bridegroom.

Episcopal Church in Reno on Aug.

a gown of lace and net. The lace
bodice featured long sleeves and
scalloped scoop neckline. The full
tiered skirt extended into a chap
el train. A crown of pearls held
the shoulder veil and she carried
a bouquet of white orchids on a
Bible from which hung stream
ers of stephanotis.
Mrs. Donald Scott of Portland,
aunt of the bride, was matron of
honor. Marilyn Eck of Oakland
served as bridesmaid. They were
dressed alike in street length
frocks of pale pink chiffon over
taffeta. Brief veils attached to flor
al headpieces and slippers were
also pink. Their arm bouquets
were deep red antherium.
Best man was Jeff Howell of
Klamath Falls. Brother-in-law of
the bridegroom, Bill Perkins of
Livermore, was the groomsman,
Ushers were Mervin Woodard of
Klamath Falls and Don Shapland
of Danville.
Brenda Perkins was the flower-
girl and Scottie Perkins, the ring
bearer. They are niece and neph
ew of tile bridegroom.
Mrs. Alexander selected for the
occasion a pink sheath dress with
matching hat and accessories.
Mrs. Arnett wore a mint green
dress with darker green acces
sories. White orchids were worn1
by both mothers.
An open reception was held fol
lowing the ceremony in the church
hall. A four tier, pink-tinted wed
ding cake was encircled with or
chids from Hawaii to carry out
the pink and orchid color theme.
A program included musical
selections and readings., A buffet
supper was served later.
Mrs. Arnett changed to a dark
pink silk dress with ivory polka
dots for the wedding journey
north. She is a graduate of Gresh
am High School and attended Beth
any Bible College in Santa Cruz
She has been employed as a sten
ographer in Oakland.
The bridegroom, a graduate ot
Henley High School, attended Ore
gon Technical . Instiutute. He is
presently employed by Sandia
Atomic Research in Livermore
where they will make their home
A bridal banquet took place
the evening before the wedding at
Onstad's Smorgasborg in Oakland

aunt of the bridegroom, and San

RESIDE IN RENO While the bridegroom attends Un
iversity of Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne G. Osborne will
reside in Reno. Mrs. Osborne is the former Diane L.
Walker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Walker of Al
bany. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Osborne of

Diane L. Walker, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Percy Walker of
Albany, became the bride of
Wayne G. Osborne Aug. 27 at the
Westminster Presbyterian Church
in Albany.
The bridegroom is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Osborne of
Tulelake.
Before the altar banked with
white gladioli, the couple ex
changed their nuptial vows in a
4 p.m. double ring ceremony read
by the Kev. Hugh Bronson. pastor
ot the Pine Valley Church of Half
way. -
Nosegays of white flowers ac
cented with green ribbon marked
the aisle pews for the candle
light service.
Percy Walker escorted his
daughter to the altar and gave
her in marriage. Her gown ofl
Chantilly lace and net featured a
sweemeari necKiine, snort capi
sleeves and a full skirt of alter
nate panels of lace and net, ex
tending into a chapel train. She
wore a double fingertip length
veil of illusion and carried a green
orchid arranged with a spiral ofl
white gladioli.
The bride's sister, Sharon Walk
er, was the honor attendant. Two
other sisters, Mrs. Keith Thomp-
son and Audrienne Walker, and
Mrs. Wayman Bradley were
bridesmaids. They were dressed
alike in frocks of pink and green
chiffon over green taffeta. Their
nosegay bouquets were white gladioli.
William Osborne, cousin of the
bridegroom, served as best man.
Ushers were two brothers, Robert
Osborne and Donald Osborne: a
cousin, Edgar Duckett, and Rich
ard Millick.

feta, were Julieann Osborne and
Sally Osborne, sisters of the bride
groom.
RECENT NEWLYWEDS Mr. and Mrs. David E. Arnett
were married in a summer; ceremony in Oakland. She Is
the former Jeania Alexander. He Is the son of Mr. and
Mrs. Nolan T. Arnett of Klamath Falls.
Organ music was played by
Mrs. Stanley Wadsworth. Sidney
M. Burt sang "Because," "1 Love
You Truly," and "The Lord's
Prayer as a part of the service
Mrs. Walker chose a yellow sat
in brocade sheath with matching
accessories for the affair. Mrs
Osborne wore a royal blue satin
brocade dress with white acces
sories. White rosebuds were cor
sages for both mothers.
The bridal couple received con
gratulations from about 170 wed
ding guests at a reception in the
Fireplace Room of the church
which was decorated with roses
and gladioli.
Assisting were Mrs. Norman
Walker, Mrs. Ernest Ziegler, Mrs
George Sivcr and Mrs. Rex Zieg
ler, all aunts of the bride, and
Marlene Baldwin, Brenda Moore
and Mrs. Larry Walker.
Mrs. Osborne's going-away cos
tume was a beige sheath dress
with matching jacket, brown ac
cessories and the green orchid
from her bouquet. She is a grad
uate of Shasta College. The bride
groom attended Oregon State Col
lege and Shasta College and this
year is completing his senior yean
at University of Nevada.
The newlyweds are residing at
765 Reeves Avenue in Reno fol
lowing a wedding trip to Victoria
B.C.
In addition to the bridegroom's
parents, and his grandfather, John
Bush, Tulelake guests at the wed
ding included Mr. and Mrs. Ed
Osborne, Bill and Doug; Mr. and
Mrs. Estil Allison and family; Mr
and Mrs. Bill Haynes, Mr. and

munity Hall. Stuffed animals were

the room, and the gift table was
artistically decorated with the let
