House Okays
WASHINGTON (UPI) - The
House approved and sent to the
Senate today a compromise $931.7
million military construction bill
for U.S. bases at borne and
abroad.
Much of the money will be used
for expanding missile facilities.
The bill had been held up by a
hot dispute over a $3.8 million
item to transfer the Army Quar

Mass.
A House-Senate conference com-,
mittee agreed Monday to provide
the funds if a "fair and impartial

to keep the institute and sidesteps
the fight for the time being.
Under the compromise, the Air

$498,346,000. The Navy would re

$157,934,000.
The rest would be allocated to
the reserves and National Guard.
