PORTLAND (AP) Three snow
geese, shot near Summer Lake in
Southeastern Oregon last fall, had
been banded earlier by the Rus
sian Commission for Nature Pro
tection at Wrangell Island.
Wrangell Island is about 100
miles north of the Siberian coast
line in the Chuckchee Sea.
The Oregon Game Commission
has notified the Russian agency
that the birds had migrated to
Oregon.
