Campaign Kicked Off At Breakfast

annual membership drive got un
derway during a 6:30 a.m. kick
elf "cowboy" breakfast at Y head
quarters today.

YMCA program is a means pf
insuring development of an ef
fective Y program for boys and
girls, says Campbell.
YMCA is a member agency of
Klamath County United Fund, the
Y's largest source of income.
However, nearly 20 per cent of
last year's income over $37,000
came from memberships.
Other source of revenue, such
as special privilege sales and busi
ness rentals, account for the remainder.
Members set their own "dies,"
indicating the amount of financial
support they intend to donate to
the Y during the year.
Membership fees, which are
kept strictly personal, allow mem
bers to enjoy special prices and
privileges. Many Y activities are
free of charge to. members.
