Oregon College Red Raiders a
stinging 58-47 defeat with one of
the most aggressive defensive jobs
the league leaders may face all

backboards.
Only three other Tcchmen got;28-'

Owls had leads as great as 23
points. Bob Cumiford filled for
ailing Gene Branson, Ron Mug

second period when he became
obviously tired.
Raider center John Pavne, -6,
had his troubles like Peterson in
the foul department, and was nev

Smith collected 17 loose ones

scored only five points.
The SOC quint got off to a 3-u'
lead in the opening seconds but
that's all the longer it lasted.
