cide, and hot weather diets arc

health.
The Sudden Murderers
The sudden murderers who kill
without apparent reason usually
have abnormal brain activity,
British researchers report.
They charted the electrical ac
tivity in the brains of known mur
derers in English prisons. Among
those who murdered while trying
to commit some other crime, one
in four showed brain abnormal
itiesroughly the same as other
prisoners.
Among those who killed after
considerable personal provocation,
only 17 per cent showed abnormal.
But in those who murdered with
out motive or provocation except
for the stress of sexual excite
ment, resentment or exhaustion,
73 per cent had brain abnormal
ities. Hot Weather Eaters

Men living in 103 degree desert

per day than did men living in
air-conditioned comfort. They also .
gained weight, probably due to
drinking more water.

family problems were the most
frequent reasons for attempted
suicides. Lesser reasons: Drug ad
diction and the birth of an illegiti
mate child. The highest number
of attempts came at the age of 18.
Parents should watch for a sud
den change in personality or be
havior, anxiety, irritability, de
pression, insomnia and frequent
but unnecessary outbursts of temper.
Climate for Fungus
Athlete's foot a common fungus
infection is more common and
harder to cure among boys than
girls. The reason, say British re
searchers: Boys' footwear is bad
ly ventilated, making their feet a
more suitable soil for the growth
of the fungus.

hold hope for persons suffering
from nerve-muscle diseases like
Myasthenia Gravis.
