Mr. and Mrs. Jerry T. Cissell
and family are visiting Mr. and
Mrs. On-ill Eifert after being sta
tioned four years in ljione.

with his parents in Springfield
before returning to reside in
Klamath Falls where he is to be

residents of Merrill, were recent

Clayton Lewis is the name chos
en for the new son of Mr. and
Mrs. Dean Hill after his birth
October II. Clayton, who weighed
7 pounds. 5 ounces, and his
mother will spend several weeks
with his grandparents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lou Hill. Merrill, and Mr.
and Mrs. Ralph Johnston, Keno,
before leaving for Tempe, Ari
zona, where his father is com
pleting his senior year at Tcmpe
State College.

show were highlights of the Oc
tober 20 monthly luncheon and
business meeting of the Kingsley
Field Officers Wives Club held in
the Officers Club.
Mrs. Fran Anderson presided
over the meeting as president.
Luncheon arrangements were
made by Mrs. Evelyn Kelly and
hostesses were Mrs. Jennifer Kan

The regular meeting of the
Beta Phi Chapter of Beta Sigma
Phi was held Tuesday October
18, at the home of Aura Mitchell.
A short business meeting was!
held and plans ere discussed for
a bowling party for members andi
their husbands to be held on No-
vember S at Lucky Lanes. A
service project was also discussed
and a final vote will he taken j
at the nevl meeting
A very interesting program was
given by Jean Bingham on "The
History of Dress."
Refreshments were served by
the co-hostesses I,ois F.gger and
Lillian Hayden.
A model meeting was held Oc
tober 4 at the home of Betty
Dirschl for the benefit of new
rushees.
Lois Egger was in charge of the
program entitled "Her Crowning
Glory." She introduced her guest
speaker, Howard Schauer from
the Klamath Beauty College, who
spoke on hair care, styling, and
showed pictures of current hair
styles. He also held a question
and answer session.
After a short business meeting,
rushee Delores Balcom was giv
en a brief introduction into the
sorority. The aims and scope of
Reta Sigma Phi were presented
by Pat Lukes; history of Beta
Sigma Thi by Aura Mitchell:
achievements of our local Beta
rhi Chapter by Marge Seutter,
and the scrapbook by Shirley Bis-scll.
