We signed up for a mail-order
art course for our son. It cost
us $415. They sent us about $25
worth of art supplies. The boy
mailed in three lessons and de
cided he didn't like the course. We
had to pay the full amount while
our kids went without milk and
shoes.
Don't suggest we see a lawyer.
There's nothing we can do to
get our money back. We tried.

KLAMATH COUNTY NEEDS RECREATIONAL
FACILITIES IT HASN'T BEEN GETTING
W. need vigorous leadership in the legislature to help bring PROPER
DEVELOPMENT OF RECREATIONAL RESOURCES IN KLAMATH COUN
TY1 In an area where there are as many strcoms, lakes, and natural play,
ground areas for the whole family to enjoy, stop . . . think for yourself . . .
just how many public facilities are for your use?
Compare this situation with JACKSON COUNTY, which for the main has
only the Rogue River as its center of outdoor activity, yet there are many
boat launching sites, picnic areas, wayside parks ... all facilities for
family fun. Why does Jackson County have such developments? It', quite
simple. Some one is vigorously supporting these projects for that area in
the legislature. It is my firm belief that we can have our fair shore of such
developments if you will elect a man who knows what is needed and who
will spend the time going to bat for the people of the Klamath Basin.
I realize that this is probably the largest source of family recreation avail
able to all ot the most nominal cost, if properly developed. Let's capitalize
on our great natural resources and get things done for the people of Klam
ath County!
MAKE SURE KLAMATH GETS ITS FAIR SHARE OF
Recreational Facilities
Boat Launching! - Picnic Areas - State Porks - Camping Sites -These
and many more facilities should be developed in Klamath
County!
