MEN'S TOURNEY CHAMPIONS Concluding a six-day tournament Saturday night
was tha 16th annual City Association Men's Bowling Tourney held at Lucky Lanes.
Pictured at the left are the Class A doubles champions, Al Woldt and Wayne rvtisco,
who tired a 1321. In the center picture is the scratch all-events winner, Jeri Cot,
who scattered 1969 pins. At the far right is Mel Fiegi who was the Class C all-evenrs
champion with 1961 pins. Other winners of the tourney, which recorded some of
the highest scores in Oregon this year, were Leonard Boen's 1990 score in the Class
A all-events; Dale Himelwright's 1884 score in the Class B all-events; Harold Hos
ton and Roger Vanderhoff's 1252 in the class B doubles; Leo Been's 695 in the Class
A singles, and Regi's 687 in the Class B singles. Wednesday evening concluded the
team bowling competition with Western Thrift capturing the Class A championship
by rolling a 3166 score and Heaton Steel and Service team winning the Class B by
scattering 3084 pins.
