mance was al an end.
"It's all over." John Hopkins,
Davis' road manager, told the 21-
year-old white girl.
Hopkins said the break up was
not due to Ihc objections of Miss
Stuart's parents to Ihc marital
plans. He blamed distance and
career conflict.
"She didn't want to give up her
career and. being in show biz my
self. I couldn't ask her to give it
up," Davis said in Hollywood.
Miss Stuart, however, said she
still loved Sammy and "I'll wait
for him."
