Bride In Eugene
Phyllis Maria Crablree became
the bride of Peter John Robinson
on December 20 at the C e n t r a 1

Present for the services were
the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Jesse A. Crabtree of Klamath
Falls. Mr. and Mrs. John G. Rob
inson of Charlotte, North Carolina,
parents of the bridegroom,
are former residents of this city,
The bride was escorted to the
altar and given in marriage by
her father. For her wedding she
chose a white wool jersey sheath
dress with a chapel veil attached
to a small hat of silvery white
flowers. Loops of pearls fell from
three white orchids which she car
ried on a' white Bible.
Sally Tontz of Salem, the bride's
cousin, was maid of honor. Herj
sheath dress was of deep red vel
veteen and she carried gardenias
and red carnations.
Mrs. Crabtree was attired in
red wool sheath dress with a gar
denia corsage.
Bill Emery served as best man.
Following tile church service a
wedding dinner was served to the
bridal party and family in the
Mural Room of the Eugene Hotel
When the newlyweds left later for
a honeymoon trip to San Francis
co, the new Mrs. Robinson was;
wearing a camel - color suit
with an orchid corsage. She is a
graduate of Klamath Union High
School and attended' the University
of Oregon where her husband is
now a student. They reside at 1889
Hilyard Street in Eugene.
Out-of-town guests included the
bride's grandmother, Mrs. Henry
Egger, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McCoy,
Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Kaufman, Mr
and Mrs. J. Edwards McCoy, all
of Portland; Mr. and Mrs. Leslie
Tontz of Salem, Kathy Beal of
Eugene.

shower at the home of Mrs. Rich
ard McCormick February 5,
Guests present were the hon-
oree's mother, Mrs. Grace Fet
tcrs, Mrs. Don Marsh, Mrs. Eu
nice Youngblood, Mrs. David Le-
mos, Mrs. Roderic Barba, Mrs.
Jim Wilmarth, Mrs. Margaret
Fletcher, Ellen Fletcher, Millie
Carolson, Mrs. Robert Carlson and
Mickey Ramirez. Also present and
visiting Mrs. Fetters over the
weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Logan and daughter of Klamath
Falls. Prizes for games were won
by Mrs. Eunice Youngblood, Mrs
Roderic Barba, Millie Carlson and
Mickey Ramirez.

THEATER PARTY
LANGELL VALLEY - David
Seater, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob
Sealer of Langell Valley, was 9
years old February 6. To celebrate
the occasion he invited 18 friends
to go to Klamath Falls to the
show. Treats were enjoyed by all
during intermission. Mrs. Claude
Brown helped Mrs. Seater with
the children.
Foresters Society
Meeting Date. Set
The annual social meeting of
the Shasta-Cascade Chapter, Soci
ety American Foresters, has been
set for March 5 at the Klamath
Yacht Club.
Social hour will commence at
p.m. and dinner will be served at
p.m. The meeting is for mem
bers and their wives and reserva-
ions should be made with George
Wardell, Klamath Forest Protec
tive Association.

Sharon Margret Meyer and
Richard C. Larsen has been

Mr. and Mrs. Clinton H.
Meyer, Route 3. The bride
elect is a senior student at
Henley High School. The fu
ture bridegroom is employed
at Weyerhaeuser Timber
Company since completing
four years service with the
Air Force. He is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lar
sen of Omro, Wisconsin.

Felicitations were received by
Mr. and Mrs. James Manning
now living in Portland on the
birth of a daughter, their third
on January 17. Sandra Lynn, who
weighed 6 pounds. 5 ounces, makes
a charming trio with older sisters

months. Grandparents Mr. and
Mrs. Binge Mason Jr. and Mrs
Francis D. Manning, and great
grandmother. Mrs. Burgc Mason
Sr., all reside in Klamath Falls
News was received this week by
Mrs. Joe David of this city of the
birth of a son to her brother-in-
law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Jack
Rountrce in Roseburg. The baby.
David Allen, weighing eight
pounds, three ounces, was born
February 17. He is their first
child. Grandparents are Mr.' and
Mrs. Frank Rountrce of Myrtle
Creek and Floyd Paup of Medford
CDA Sets Date
For Silver Tea
The Court Klamath Catholic
Daughters of America, have an
nounccd the date of the annual
silver book tea for February 22
at 8 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Par
ish Hall.
lhe teas are given each year
in February to honor "Catholic
Press Month." Proceeds from the
evening social event will go to
the Sacred Heart Academy library
fund.
This year, Mrs. Rose O'Lcary,
education chairman, will feature a
special display of books and liter
ature and has scheduled Mary Lou
O'Connor to present a book review.
Jon Gippo will entertain with
several piano selections.
The public is invited to attend
the party and members are re
minded to bring guests.
