HIGH MASS was celebrated by Msgr. T. P. Casey in Sacred Heart Church Sunday morning,
December 20, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Michael Lavenilc who celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary on that day. All members of their immediate family and many out of town
friends were present for the impressive ceremony. Also present was a longtime fMend,
E. J. Murray of this city, knighted by Monsignor Casey as a Knight of St. Gregory a few
months ago. The honored couple left the church beneath the swords of the Honor Guard
of the Fourth Degree, Knights of Columbus. Commander Otto L. Smith, state master, is at
the left foreground. Monsignor Casey is between Mr. and Mrs. Lavenik.

Gen. Frey-Bielecki, air force chief

Yugoslavia in his own M1G jet
lighter plane.

said the President hopes his trip
will "publicly reflect his deep in
terest in all the countries of the
new world, and encourage further
development of the inter-American
system."

Starts April 22
PARIS in President Charles de
Gaulle will open his visit to the
United States April 22 and will re
main until the end of the month.
He will visit Canada April 19-22.
A brief announcement from De
Gaulle's office gave the dates.

United States and to Canada at
