word of the birth of their first
grandchild October 10 to Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Overmiller or Maten
Island, New York. The little boy
weighd in at 7 lbs., 2 ozs. and
has been named Carl Lee. The
baby's mother is the former Dor
,othy Danosky.
Weed Soldier William 1. West
fall. 20. son of Mr. and Mrs. K-l-
wood Ellison, Weed, recently was
promoted to sergeant rank in Ger
many where he is stationed. He
was graduated from Weed Hifih
School, in June, 1957, entered the
service that month and arrived in
Germany last December.
Meeting Bonanza Farm Bureau
Center will meet in the grade
school cafeteria at 8 p.m. Wednes
day, October 21. Dr. Fred J.
Wcdlism. veterinarian, will discuss J

Disease." There will also be dis
cussion of a proposed resolution
on imports of lambs and wool into
the United States.

meet Thursday, October 22, at 1:30

Wilder, a freshman at Oregon
State College, has been chosen a
member of the Madrigal Singers,
a select 100-voice, school choir. It
will present the complete "Messi
ah" in Corvallis early in Decem
ber. She is the daugther of Dr.
and Mrs. F. D. Wilder, Klamath

pleted the 12-week field artillery of
ficer basic course October 7 at
Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Delmar D. Rodgers, 20. son of Mr.
and Mrs. Henry D. Rodgers, re
cently participated in a 10 day
simulated combat maneuver at his
base in Wcrtheim, Germany. He
entered the Army in January,
1957. He attended Tulclake High
School.
Deer Hunters Mr. and Mrs. Les
ter R. Bichn and Mr. and Mrs.
Pete Munday of Gpld Hill were
calling on friends in Dairy last
Friday. They were on their way
to Bly Mountain to do some deer
hunting.

da Chandler of Amarillo, Texas,
has been visiting her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boroughs of
Lowell, her sister and brother-in-law,
Mr. and Mrs. Jeffcrs Ledcr
man of Oak Ridge, and aunt and
uncle, Mr. and .Mrs, Marvin Mi
chael of Dairy. She left last Thurs
day to return to Amarillo Air
Force Base where she is stationed.

George Woods arrived in Dairy
last Friday to visit their son and
daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Nel
son Wood and Teddy. They will do
some hunting while here
