Schine, prominent in the early
1950s as an investigator for the
late Sen. Joseph McCarthy, has
become a father.
His wife, a onetime beauty con
test' winner, gave birth to a 6-'
pound, 8-oiince girl Thursday. The
baby hasn't been named.
Mrs. Schine, 25, the former
Hillevi Rombin of Upsala, Swed
en, was Miss Universe of 1955.
Schine, 31, now is president of
a hotel chain.
