Deadline For Entries Near In All-Breed Dog Exhibit

dozens of other breeds may be
teen at the All-Breed Dog Show
sponsored by Klamath Dog Fan'
ciers next month.
The show will be held in Klam
ath County Fairgrounds September
S. Entries close August 24 next
Monday.
Mrs. Kathy McDonald, president
of Klamath Dog Fanciers Inc.,
sdid the show is expected to at
tract entries from many parts of
the United States and some for
eign countries.
But a special emphasis is being
placed on local entries. Mrs. Mc
Donald, who operates Kay-Mac
Kennels on the OTI Road, said
entry blanks are available from
her or from Mrs. Betty Allen, 3630
Laverne Avenue, the club secre
tary-treasurer.
Both women are available to
help owners fill entry blanks, and
will advise on grooming and train
ing problems.
Last year, Mrs. McDonald said,
the show attracted 416 entries from
as far away as the East Coast
and South America.
Three qualified judges have been
selected. The judges, and the class
es they are to judge, are:

Army and its enlisted scientists

breed trophies (where four or
more dogs are entered), six group
trophies, one best of show trophy,
and one trophy for best local dog
in show.
Mrs. McDonald emphasized that
entries close August 24. Dogs may
be entered in field trials up to the
date before trials, but entries for
hows must be made two weeks
previously. .
