mission team of nine students of
the Southwestern Baptist Theologi
cal Seminary working m the Ba
hama Islands this summer.
She and the other young people
were selected by the faculty and
the students of the seminary to do
vacation Bible school work and re
vival work in Nassau, the capital;
of this British possession.
One project, thus far, was a si
multaneous revival crusade in
which the preachers were Negro
and white pastors from the United
States.

CHURCH TO AMALGAMATE
MOUNT SHASTA-The Rev. Lee
DcSaulnier of the Mount Shasta
Evangel Church, states that the
Evangel Church Association, of
which his church is a member, is
planning an amalgamation with
the Evangelical Methodist Church
Association. This was studied at a
June meeting of the group at
Huntington Park. Both organiza
tions will give the plan further
study, and it will be voted on in
I960. The local congregation, the
Rev. DcSaulnier states, appears to
tavor me consolidation.
