Cellar Dwellers On Sunday
With four teams each holding, along
a share on second place position
of the Northern California Base
ball League ladder there is no
chance that the No. 1 team, the
Yreka Indians, can be knocked
off its perch this weekend.
The Klamath Kubs. one of the
tied-four wilh a 2-2 mark, could.
with an assist from Dunsnxiir.
move into a tie with the Yrckans
provided they can knock over the
cellar dwelling Mount Shastans
Sunday in Gem Stadium. Duns
muir, " however, may have prob
lems since they face the Indians
in their own camp.
Early season predictions see the
Kubs and Indians as the teams
to beat lor the league crown. To
date the Yreka nine holds a vie
tory over the Kubs but the score
could be evened when they meet a
week Irom Sunday, July 5, . in
