better luck than it could have expected when It became in
jured. It s been taken under the paw of a Siamese cat owned
by Mrs. Norma Alexander. The cat had already been trained
to be friendly with the family parakeet.

been thrown from a window of the press headquarters when
it caught fire in Bonn, Germany. As one ,man tosses a chair
from an upstairs window,, an unidentified correspondent
stands amid stacks of paper littering the lawn. .Police, cor
respondents and others braved smoke and flames to try and
save office equipment and new files. The fire broke out while
most of the Bonn correspondents were away on weekend.
