THIS BEAUTIFUL STRING of fish was caught in Lake of the Woods this spring by Ariel
Anderson of Lakeview. All of which proves t bat the fish are there if you here the know
how to sneg 'em.
FISHERMEN SPECTATORS stand by at Lelce of the Woods . the Oregon State Game Com
mission's tank trucks shows up to start the planting of some 300,000 rainbow fingerlings
recently. Here the hose has been hooked up to the tank's interior and all is almost ready to
start dumping the small fish into their new home. Tom Neely is standing by to see how it
all goes.

into Lake of the Woods.

Lake of the Woods, lends hand on tho ho.e as 57.000
fingerling rainbows are dumped into tho lake. The fish were
dumped near the boat docks and within an hour had start
ed to spread over a wide area of the lake. Watar tempera
ture was 53 degrees when the fish wer pumped -
