Body Recovered
By Coast Guard
NEWPORT. Ore. APi The
Coast Guard reported Saturday
recovery of the body of John
Clark, Scio. Ore., one of two
brothers who disappeared on a
fishing trip in the Pacific Ocean.
Still missing to Kenneth Clark
50. Albany. They vanished after
taking out a 13-foot boat to fish
oft this coastal resort. Later
wreckage of the boat was thrown
onto the beach.
Funeral services for John Clark
were held Sunday in Scio.
REV. AND MRS. I. J. "RON" HALL arrived in Klamath Falls
last week to begin their ministry at th Immanual Baptist
Church. Rev. Hall comes her from Prinovill whera ha was
th associate pastor at tha First Baptist Church of that city.
Reverend Hall has had pastorates in Gold Baach and Cava
Junction after completing his studies at the Simpson Bible
Collage of Seattle.

A 100 dollar scholarship, award
ed by the Merrill VFW Auxiliary,
was presented to Glettda Story.
The Merrill Parent-Patron Associ
ation awarded its first scholarship
to Larry Bell.
A full tuition and fee scholarship
to Southern Oregon College was
received by Myrtle Barnes. Gloria
Cahan was awarded a scholarship
to the University of Oregon.
Sharon Katton was named top
student in the district by the
Daughters of the American Revo
lution and received a gold pin citi
zenship award. Miss Kafton was
also named outstanding senior
commercial student by the Under
wood Company and received a
certificate (or her essay on "Con
servation." She was also named
senior citizen.

of Tomorrow" was awarded to
Glenda Story. A key award was
presented to Myrtle Barnes who
