To Be, Conducted
Special revival services to be
conducted by the Rev. Arthur A.
Roney, revivalist, will, beein at
the Klamath Falls Free Methodist
Church, 1918 Oregon Avenue,
Tuesday, May 12, continuing
through May 24.
; Services will be held at 7:30
each evening.
The speaker brings with his
messages, new life and hope,
ay those who have listened to
Ins full gospel preaching. His au
diences find new birth and spirit
filled lives.
The public is invited to attend.

Holds Lunch
SUMMER LAKE The women of
Church of Our Savior, Summer
Lake, were served at 12 o'clock
no-host luncheon on Friday, May
1, at Summer Lake Lodge.
Mary Johns, Pendleton, United
Thank Offering Chairman in the
division of women's work of the
Missionary District of Eastern
Oregon, was a guest speaker.
Miss Johns gave an account of
her experience as delegate to the
national Convention in Miami at
which time she presented Oregon's
United Thank Offering which was
part of the entire sum of almost
four million dollars given by
women and used entirely to build
new churches and missions.
. The Church of Our Savior was
given to the Summer Lake- com
munity in 1940 from the United
Thank Offering fund.
Miss Johns also gave sources of
material to be used in church
work and explained that the United
Thank offering is our offering of
money, prayers, services, and tal
ent or, in a few words, "the wom
en being grateful for blessings re
ceived each day.

Attend Work Bee
NEW PINE CREEK - Some
members of the Lakeview IOOF
Lodge 63 from New Pine Creek
attended the two-day work bee at
the Odd Fellows Cemetery last
weekend in Lakeview. The cem
etery face-lifting will continue
over the next two weekends in
preparation for Memorial Day.
James Snider, noble grand of
the lodge, urges all members of
the lodge to take time out next
Saturday or Sunday and help with
the work at the cemetery.
The Lakeview Soroptimist Club
