WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. AP-
Eight scattered residential blocks
were turned over to the dogs by
postmen who said they have been
bitten once too often.
The postmen four of them
cited a federal postal regulation
which says that they cannot be
required to deliver mail where
dogs are a threat.
Postmaster Donald Hall said
Thursday that all of the city's nine
postmen have been bitten at least
once in the past year.

Show Decline
WASHINGTON UPI) The
Agriculture Department said to
day U. S. farm exports last year
totaled- $3,856,000,000, 14 per cent
below the record 1957 figure of
$4,505,000,000.
More than half the drop was
caused by a decrease in colton
exports. Exports of wheat, rice,
livestock products, vegetable oils
: and oilseeds also declined. In
creases occurred in feed grains,
fruits and vegetables. Tobacco ex
ports were practically unchanged.

nocent of a burglary charge, he
went to the office of Prosecutor
Dan Hale to pick up some tools
used as evidence against him.
But Woodrum left the office
without them. He refused to sign
a receipt for the tools listed on a
receipt as "burglary tools."
