a little crisp. Serve topped with
sieved egg yolk, crumbled crisp
bacon or strips of pimiento.

1 cup commercial sour cream
V teaspoon salt
S tablespoons fresh lemon
juice
Butter lettuce
H cup roasted blanched sliv
ered almonds
Drain fruit cocktail. Combine
with remaining ingredients, except
lettuce and almonds, and mix light
ly. Chill 24 hours. Spoon into let
tuce cups on salad plates. Sprinkle
almonds over top.
Makes ft servings.
FRl'IT DRESSING
For avocado and grapefruit sal
ad or other fruit combinations,
Combine M cup pineapple juice.
II cup orange juice. tablespoons
lemon juice. N cup salad oil. 1
E teaspoon sugar and M teaspoon
salt. Beat or shake until well
blended. Makes cup dressing.
