KRAFT'S Miniature Marshmallows, which took the country
by ttorm, have a companion package now of regular size
marshmallows. The little onei come in a lO'i ounce pack
age, the large ones in a 10 ounce package.
Marshmallows
Kraft's Miniature Marshmallows
sold out in Klamath Falls during
the promotion with KelloRg's Rice
Krispies and a lot of people learned
how easy it is to make Christmas
treats combining the two products.
Kraft's acknowledged best seller
now has a companion Jet-Puffed
Marshmallows.
The first wonderful thing you will
notice about the now Kraft Marsh
mallows is that they are "skinless."
They are soft inside and out and
there is no hard outer crust. Just
try them and see how quickly they
melt on top of a cup of hot chocolate.
Here are some of the
Kraft's suggest:
STRAWBERRY MARLOW
1 12-ounce package frozen
strawberries
24 Kraft Marshmallows
recipes
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
I cup heavy cream, whipped
Defrost the strawberries and
drain well. Place juice and the
marshmallows in the top of a dou
ble boiler. Heat until the marsh
mallows are melted. Chill. Add the
strawberries and lemon rind. Fold
in the whipped cream. Pour into
relngerator freezing tray and
freeze until firm.
GOLDEN TOPPERS
6 canned peach halves
'a cup coconut
3.t cup brown sugar, packed
1-3 cup orange juice
6 Kraft Marshmallows
Place the peach halves in a light
ly greased baking dish. Sprinkle
with coconut. Combine the sugar
and orange juice and pour over
the peaches. Place a marshmallow
in Ihe center of each. Bake In a
moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 15
minutes. .

HOW COMFORTABLE this exciting tweed fabric is with
Elizabeth Arden Hand and Body Lotion to soothe the skin.
Fashion's new textured wools and other fabrics can be
worn with ease when the skin is silkv mooth.
Elizabeth Arden
Fluffy mohair - coats, rough
grained tweed suits, and bulky
country sweaters are among the
most exciting fashions. Although in
teresling texture has always been
smart, this year It virtually spells
lasnion.
As soft and flattering as these
fabrics look when being worn, too
often they feel anything but com
forlahle. To wear or not to wear
becomes the problem. Some worn
en actually forego the good .looks
end warm comfort of these alluring
wools because of irritation to the
skin.
What a shame to miss the smart
est look of an entire season! Es
pecially when the blame is mis
placed. For thcfabrics are not at
fault, thp trouble is with your own
skin. A dry chapped skin is overly
sensitive, has a roughened surtace
which catches the fabric, making
you hopelessly uncomfortable
What to do? Elizabeth Ardrn has
a soft soothing answer. Her rich

The busier you are. the more
important it is for you to take
time out Tor relaxation.
The easiest, quickest way to re
lieve that tired tecling is to take
a leisurely bath. And, even if you
wish there were 48 hours in a
day, you will be tempted to linger
in ine tuo u you use a new per
fumed foam bath by Houbigant.
This new preparation imparls a
wealth of fragrance for enjoy
ment and a million bubbles for a
psychological lift, ft can be had
in either Quelques Fleurs. the
loveliest flower arrangement in
fragrnnce or Chantilly, the lace
inspired scent.
For best results, pour a heaoinc
capful of the tiny granules directly
unaer me laucet, turn on hot wa
ter full force the more force
the more foam.
The scented bubbles will rise
and the fragrance will nermeate
the bathroom and adjoining rooms.
As you slip under the soft blanket,
you will feel tight nerves unwind
ing, tired muscles relaxing. And,
later, when you look in the mir
ror, you will find that your face
looks smoother, more serene,
without a tight strained expres
sion. Soap chases away Ihe bubbles,
so why not first take a "business"
bath for cleansing, then draw a
iresh tub for your leisurely beau
ty bath.

BILL GORSCH, who with his wife, Jane, operated Quartz
Mountain Inn, a favorite stop between Klamath Palls aad
Lakeview, now has this territory for "Spaire." As shown
here, the pressurized can contains instant tire air for auto
mobile, motorcycle or trailer. It also serves as an instant fire
extinguisher. Just remove cap from Spaire can, turn nozzle
toward base of fire. Directions also state that Spaire applied
to the fuel pump and fuel line of an automobile will release
a vapor lock. For protection to the skin, always wear gloves
when using Spaire.
Sack Dress
Now Passe
By DOROTHY ROE
Asuociated Press Women's Editor
NEW YORK (AP) There's not
a sack in a carload of New
York spring fashions, currently
being previewed by the nation's
fashion press. -
Today s champions ot tne le
male form divine Include design
ers Jo Copcland, Oleg Cassini and
Ben Zuckcrman. The only holdout
of the season to date is Larry Al
drich, who has been beating the
drums for the "relaxed" silhou
ette for nigh on to five years and
still shows it, modified but recog
nizable.
Jo Copeland, the all-American
designer who claims she never
has taken a single cue from Paris
shows a feminine, flattering and
strictly elegant group of daytime
and evening fashions, the latter
planned definitely for moonlight,
roses and romance. Most dramat
ic of her evening gowns is a full-
length sheath of white chiffon with
jeweled midriff and floating pan
els, elegant as all get-out.
In a less formal mood is a short
dance dress of black silk faille
with a ruffled white eyelet em
broidered petticoat, which is sup
posed to show.
Cassini goes happily back to his
necklines as low as the law al
lows, insisting that "the bosom is
here to stay.
"Women's dresses are supposed
to appeal to men," Cassini says.
Now men look at fashion in a
basically simple way. It's the
shape that interests me. v
Ben Zuckerman shows a well-
bred, discreet and wearable
group of superbly tailored suits
and coats, the suits all with short
jackets and slim skirts. Notable
in the collection ts a group ot
simple and sophisticated black
silk cocktail dresses with cover-
up jackets, to convert them to 24
hour duty. i
