. 50 Years Marked

WEED Mr. and Mrs. B. M,
Early, married 50 years ago in
Texarkana, Texas, celebrated the
occasion at an open house held
in their home on Wednesday, De
cember 3.
Many friends and relatives call
ing between 3 and 10 o'clock
were served an ornately decorat
ed tiered cake made by Mrs.
Kenneth Shaffer.
Eight children were born to the
couple. Three of the six living
present for the occasion included
Mrs. Mclvin Solus, Mount Shasta
who served as the hostess for the
anniversary party: Carlton Early,
Caldwell, Idaho, and Haskell Ear
ly, Weed. Their other children
are Mrs. Bert Crump, McAdoo,
Texas; Mrs. Ira Hooker, Binger,
Oklahoma and Mrs. Lester Talk-
ington, Caldwell, Idaho.

GORDON TRACY and Frances Stewart were chosen
from 10 senior students of Lakeview High School to re
ceive the personality awards presented at the annual
homecoming dance Saturday, December 20, in the school
auditorium. Their names are engraved on a cup which is
displayed at the school.
Other students voted on from the .list submitted by
the faculty were Felice Quisenberry, LaVonne Krati, Mary
Sullaway, Toxie Risley, Truman Conn, Ora Banister, Melvin
Adams and Don Alger.
Many students, alumni and faculty members were
present at the dance which is, sponsored by 'the Honor
Society. President of the society is Kirlc Anderson. Laura
