orations when she entertained the
members of the Little Shasta Auc
tion Club, on Wednesday, Decem
ber 10. with Mrs. Keith Vidler
sharing hostess duties.
High prizes for the afternoon
were awarded to Mrs. Ora Mc
Gregor of Yreka and Mrs. Orlo
Davis of Little Shasta, while sec
ond prizes were captured by Mrs
Larry Walters and Mrs. Ernost
Williams, both of Little Shasta
Low prize awards went to Mrs
Jennie Mathews and Jessie Coon-
rod, both of Yreka. Mrs. Ralph
Leavers of Montague received the
traveling prize.
During a brief business session
the group voted to contriubte to
the Christmas parly fir.id for the
Little Shasta Klenicntary School

BEDECK YOURJ-IOLIDAY TABLE with ths pretty Christmas tree made of paper
toweling. Shape a cone about 12 inches high from stiff paper. Cut one-inch wide
stripes of folded towels on the bias. Fold each strip and snip with scissors along one
edge for fringe. If you wish, you can curl this slightly with a small knife. Spiral the
strips of folded towels on the bias. Folo cover completely. As a finishing touch,
dab white paste lightly over the entire fringe and sprinkle with sparkle dust, or attach
tiny colored stars.-A bright foil star tops the decoration.
