Modified Filibuster Rule Receives Backing By Solon
WASHINGTON 'API - Sen.
Kverett Dirksen tlWIli announced

modify the Senate's filibuster rule.
The rule now requires the votes
of M senators to shut off debate,

Alaska's two senators are seated.
Some senators are demanding a
rules chanqe to make it easier to
end filibusters.
Dirksen, who is in line to be
