Chrysanthemums in rich au
tumn colors decorated the First
Presbyterian Church Sunday. Sep
tember 14, for the wedding of
Louise Charlotte Tracy and John
Gary Robatcek.
The Rev. Robert C. Groves
read the marriage service before
150 relatives and friends at 4
o'clock in the afternoon.
Charlotte is the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Charles Tracy. 2525 Ap
plegate Street. The bridegroom is
the son of Mr. and Mrs. John
Robatcek of 1519 Oregon Avenue.
The bride was given in mar
riage by her father.
Her wedding gown of white lace
was fashioned with a scoop neck
line and three-quarter length
uleeves. The waltz length skirt fea
tured a scalloped hemline over
tulle, and was cut away to the
waist in back to show tiers of
tulle ruffles. A tiara of pearls held
an illusion fingertip veil. She wore
glass and white kid slippers and
carried a bouquet of white roses.
Her string of pearls was a gift of
the bridegroom.
In keeping with tradition the
bride wore a six pence in her shoe
and a blue garter. She carried a
handkerchief borrowed from Ida
Momyer Odell which her mother
had made of tatted medalions and
point lace.
Shirley Thompson was maid of
honor and Judy Cross was brides
maid. They wore frocks of peach
nylon organza with matching hats
and carried colonial bouquets of
chrysanthemums in autumn
shades.
Lorie Metier and Debbie Acuff
were flower girls. They wore head
bands of green to match their
full skirted dresses of sheer nylon.
Their flowers were nosegays of
chrysanthemums.
Best man was Wayne Robatcek.

ing were Glenn Tracy, brother of
the bride. Jack Metier and Dick
Gilcrist. both brothers-in-law of
the bridegroom. They also lighted
the candles before the service.
Mrs. George Mclntyre. the or
ganist for the ceremony, played
Schreiner's "Bridal March" as
the wedding party came down
the aisle and "Nuptial Song" by
Loret for the recessional. Mrs.
Walter Badorck sang "I Love
Thee" and "0 Perfect Love" be
fore the service and "The Lord's
Prayer" as a part of the cere
mony. Mrs. Tracy chose for her daugh
ter's wedding a marine blue
sheath dress which she wore
with matching hat and accessor
ies. Mrs. Robatcek wore a sheath
dress of dusty rose color and
matching accessories. Both moth
ers' corsage were of pink roses.
Following the ceremony a re
ception was held in tliO church
dining room, which was decorated
by Mrs. Dick Gilcrist.
The bride's table was centered
with the three tiered wedding
cake, which was trimmed with
delicate pink roses and topped by
large pink wedding bells and lily-of-the-valley.
Mrs. 11. 0. Thompson served
the cake. Mrs. Delbert Acuff pre
sided at the colfee table and Mrs.
Jack Metier attended the punch
table. Mrs. Everett Hart was in
charge of the gilt table and Mrs.
Kenneth Hill passed the g u e s I
book for signatures of the guests.
For traveling the new Mrs. Ro
batcck wore a red faille suit,
matching hat and bag. and white
gloves and shoes. White roses
from the bridal bouquet were
pinned at her shoulder.

EIGHT BROTHERS AND SISTERS met for the
time in eight yean at the William F. Jones Jr. home, 38SI
Wiard Street, on August 15. Seated in the group, left to
right, are Ella Slaughter, Earl Jones, Bill Jones and Evelyn

Morris Jones, Norman Jones and Joe Jones. The evening
also marked the birthday of three members of the family
and the surprise announcement of the engagement of
Betty Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jones, to Jerry
Ramey. Refreshments were served to the families of the
eight, also to guests not of the immediate family: Mr.
and Mrs. Lonnie Jones, Ontario, California; Rev. Bonnie

A wedding of interest to many
Klamath Falls people was that of
Susan Elizabeth Myers, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Myers
of Condon, and Lawrence Keith
Snyder, son ot Mrs. William De-
Cew of Beaverton and Charles
Snyder of Klamath Falls. Law
rence is the grandson of Mrs
Henry Anderson of Klamath Falls
and the late Henry Anderson.
The marriage took place Sep
teniber 14 at 2:30 in the Condon
Congregational Church with the
Rev. Stuart Goude officiating.
Yellow and turquoise satin bows
accented the large baskets of
gladioli, roses and chrysantlie-
mums of rich autumn shades of
yellow, copper and bronze. Can
dclabra held tall lighted white
tapers.
Mrs. Nick Riley at the organ
played the wedding music. Mrs
Van Riclman sanfi "Whilher Thou
Guest" before the ceremony, and
"Wedding Prayer" as the couple
knelt hetore the altar.
Escorted to the altar by her
father, the bride wore a waltz
length gown with nylon chiffon
hnulinnt skirt over taffeta. The
Chanlilly lace bodice featured a
jeweled Sabrina neckline and long
sleeves. A finger tip length if
lusion veil trimmed with tiny bows
and seed pearls was held in place
bv a matching chiffon cap accented
with seed peurls and jewels. She
carried a cascade bouquet of
white cymhidium orchids and yel
low baby rosebuds entwined with
ivy and centered with a white or
, chid.
Bonnie Jaeger, maid of honor,
wore a houllant yellow nylon gown
flocked in small white daisies. She
carried a fan of Chanlilly lace
with yellow and bronze autumn
flowers. Bridesmaids, Ann Palm-
on
cr and Mrs. Frank Bettcncourt,
were dressed in turquoise nylon
with white lily-of-the-vallcy flock
ing and carried Chantuly lace
fans and yellow flowers.
Carla Myers, cousin of the bride,
and Rita Vaughn wore dresses of
turquoise and white and served as
candlelighters.
Best man was Craig Clark of
Anchorage, Alaska. Ushering were
Howard Smith Jr., and Donald
Forbes.
Mrs. Myers chose for her daugh
ter's wedding a frock of dark
beige cotton lace over gold taf-
leta. Mrs. DeCew s gown was of
light beige cotton lace worn with
a rose colored sash.
The young couple received con
gratulations in the church parlors
immediately following the cere
mony. Two yellow bells and llly-of-tlie-valley
adorned t lie top of the four
tiered cako which was decorated
with yellow roses and silver
leaves. Tho cako was served by
Linda Beck of Willamina and
Judy Poland of Shedd. Mrs. Hen
ry Anderson, grandmother of tha
bridegroom, and Mrs. Elgin My
ers, great-aunt of the bride, pre
sided at the coffee table. Carol
Milliard from Mt. Prospect, Illi
nois and Corvallis, poured tea.
Sue Switzer assisted at the punch
howl. Janet Snell. Tigard. and Rol-
lene Walter, Fossil, were in
charge of the gilt table. The guest
book was passed by Joan Ar-bogast.
For traveling Susan chose a cop
per colored dress with matching
jacket and accessories of a dark
er shade accented in French blue.
