Sealed proposals will be received by '
the Common Council of the City of
Kiamath Falls, Oregon, far the pur-1
chase of street Improvement bonds. Se
ries 113 and 114. aggregating twelve
thousand six hundred forty-five and
34-100 Dollars, H12.U5.34i duly author
ized by ordinances of the said City
of Klamath Falls, for the construction
and improvement of the following Im
provement units situated in the City
ef Klamath Fails, Oregon, as follows:

Eldorado Avenue from the South line
of Vannea Avenue to tt.e South-east'
erly line of Lot two. Block twelve.
Hillside Addition extended, in said
City; and. Improvement Unit No. 138.
being on Auburn Street from the
Norih-eaiterly 'ine of Pacific Terrace
to the North-easterly Una of Newcastle
Avenue, in said City.
Proposals to purchase said bonds will
be received by the undersigned Police
Judge of said City, up to and Includ
ing the twenty-ninth day of September,
1958. at the hour of seven thirty
o'clock P M. of said day and opened
at a regular meeting of the Common
Council immediately thereafter; said
bonds shall be dated November 1 ,
J 958, and shall be in amounts of (500.00
each, except bond No. 1, of each se
ries, which shall be for the fractional
part of said sum, and all shall be
due ten years, after the date of issue,
payment of the entire bonds optional
with said City at any coupon paying
date on and after one year from the
date tnereoi. &aia bonds will bear in
terest at the rate of not to exceed six
per cent per annum, payable semi-annually
on the 1st. day of May and No-
vemoer or eacn year, principal and in
terest payable at the office of the
Treasurer oi me city of Klamath Falls,
Oregon.
All proposals must be unconditional
and accompanied by a certified check
lor live per cent of the oronosal.
The Common Council reserves the
right to reject any and all bids.
The successful bidder for said bonds
will be furnished with an opinion as
to the validity thereof by the law firm
of; Shuler, Sayre, Winfree tt Rankin,
Portland Trust Building, Portland 4,
Oregon.
