fornia, especially in Northern and
Central California.
Perhaps more than some jther
industries, the poultry business has
difficulty in matching supply with
demand and as a result is the
victim of price fluctuations.
Moreover, the California industry
suffers from competition from the
deep south tier of states.
Nevertheless the cash farm in
come from poultry in California
ranges between 250 million dollars
and 300 million dollars a year.
