NEW YORK (UPI)-A prom-am
of polka songs and dances has
been set by ABC to bow June 23;
Mondays from 9:30 to 10:30 p.m.
It will originate in the network's
WBKB station in Chicago. There
will be a studio audience seated -"in
the round," completely encir
cling the action and within camera
range at all times. "Polkago
Round," as it is called, takes over
the spot occupied regularly by
"Lawrence Welk's Top Tunes and
New Talent," which will return to
the air August 25.
'Robin Hood" will be back for
a fourth season on CBS. In fact,
the network itself has now bought
this English-made property. Offi
cial Films also will offer the old
episodes for syndicated "strip pro
gramming- that will not conflict
with the new network product.
Actress Betsv Palmer, who has
been on "I've Got a Secret" so
many times, finally has been desig
nated as one of the four perma
nent panelists, replacing F a y e
Emerson.
Here's a proeram. not for next

son. 1959-60. "Father of the Bride"
is the title of the situation com
edy series, and, as the title would
indicate, is based on Edward
Streeter's popular novel which be
came a very successful movie for
MGM back in 1950. A five-year
contract is involved in the TV deal
by an advertising agency for one
of its clients.
