India Train Jumps
Tracks; 20 Killed
. BOMBAY, India Wi A crowd
ed express train jumped the track
at high speed 40fl miles north
west of Bombay early Wednesday,
killing 20 persons and injuring 50,
the state-owned railway an
nounced. The crash occurred on the
Western Railway. The official re
port said seven coaches derailed
and two of them overturned.
The express was en route from
Rajkot to Viramgain.
The United Packing House
Workers of America rejected the
management offer less than six
hours after the end of a 27-day-old
ban against commercial salmon
fishing in the lower Columbia
River.
There was no immediate indi
cation that pickets would be put
around the plants.
John Janosco. an international
representative of the union, said
efforts would be made to set up
unothcr bargaining session.
But then he added that the
rejection of the wage offer was
the automatic beginning of
strike. Neither he nor other union
officials knew when picketing
might start.
Union sources said that if pickets
were put up, fishermen probably
would not deliver to the 14 struck
plants here and one in Ilwaco,
wasn.
Reports circulated here that
fishermen, with heavy catches
throughout the night, might in
steady take their fish to canneries
up the coast at Aberdeen, Wash.
Some 800 members ot the union
here are employed by the 15
plants.

Earlier. Graham had announced
he would not be able to testily
before the first week in July. He
also has said he never has seen
any pornographic material in his
life.
An Arkansas evangelist, the
Rev. Braxton B. Sawyer, said he
was sending Graham 20 pounds of
pornography by air express so be
could see what it is like. Indica
tions were the shipment would be
refused.
Meanwhile, Graham resumed
his crusade Tuesday night after
a day s rest. He told a crowd of
13,000 at the Cow Palace that the
price of salvation comes high, but
the price of sin is even greater
eternal death.
"Because God gave his only son
to save you." he said, "salvation
will cost you your selfishness,
your pride, your lust.
"You must give all to Christ
your emotion, personality and
heart."
Earlier. Graham fold a crowd
of 1200 students at San Francisco
State College they must change
the heart and soul of man so that
he will love instead of hate. That.
he said, is the only course to
avoid worldwide destruction.
The students attending the spec
ial address filled three auditor
iums to hear him. They applau
ded frequently. Halfway through
his address, a group of students
raised a large banner reading.

BR1DGET0N, N.J. W-A young
shoe clerk and his wife, each in
a separate car, sped toward a
quiet country crossroads called
Harmony last night. -
They met in a flaming broad
side crash that swept the two
autos against an empty house.
Police were able to pull Lester
Wright, 19, from the pyre, but he
was dead by the time they got
htm to Bndgeton Hospital.
His wife Vera, also 19, was
hurled from her borrowed car and
is in serious condition at the hos
pital with a possible skull frac
ture.
What brought the couple, mar
ried a year and a half, to the lone
ly intersection at twilight?
Police can only hope to ques
tion the young widow, who is still
in deep shock. They also seek Wal
ter Robinson, who they say owned
the car she drove on a learner's
permit.
Mrs. Wright's auto hurtled into
the left side of her husband's car,
sent it slicing through a pole and
into a porch. Her car' smashed
into the toundation. 'Both were
alone.
Police theorize they might
have intended to turn into the
road which leads to Bridgeton,
where they lived.
