Pet Dog Causes
Shooting Mishap
ORLEANS, Calif. to-A pet dog
was blamed for the shooting of
Roberta Starritt.
Roberta. 17, told sheriff
deputies she put a .22 rifle on the
living room couch and walked into
the kitchen. She said her dog
jumped on the couch, the gun
went off and a bullet hit her in
the stomach. Hospital attendants
listed her condition as fair.
"Fidelio" was Beethoven's only
opera.
