Missionaries
Plan Program
Missionaries to Jamaica, the
Rev. and Mrs. William Whitlow
and family, will show colored
slides of the missionary work be
ing done on the Caribbean island,
accompanied by a challenging
message, at a missionary rally to
be held at the Klamath Temple,
1007 Pine Street, Sunday, Novem
ber 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Reverend and Mrs. Whitlow have
served as pastors in the Eugene
area and as associate pastors in
Portland, as well as filling other
posts in their field.
They will leave early in 1958 for
Jamaica, where they will super
vise the Jamaican Open Bible In
stitute and the Church of the Open
Bible in Montego Bay. They will
teach the natives the full gospel
message, that they in turn may
establish self-governing and self
supporting churches among their
people.

of Klamath Temple, invites the
public to attend this service and
to attend the growing Sunday
school services and the 11 o'clock
service on Sunday morning.
Booth Planned
j For Bazaar
1 MERRILL Plans for a candy
booth at the annual church bazaar
of the Merrill Presbyterian Church
were made by the Mariners dur-
. ing a business meeting held on
November 11.
Peggy Hasklns was named chair
man of calling for candy. In
charge of setting up the booth
will be Donnafaye Haskins. The
bazaar is scheduled for December
7 at the Merrill Recreation Hall
The purser reported a success
full food , booth was had by the
group during the Potato Festival
festivities. Inquiries are to be
made regarding the purchase of a
slide projector for the church.
Devotions were led by Lloyd and
Valerie Henderson. The business
. meeting was conducted by skippers
Lee and Donnafaye Haskins with
IS members present. Guests intro
duced were Dick and Illys Reeves.
Refreshments were served by
Vclma and Lucky Felt and Peggy
and Delmar Haskins. The commit
tee for the December meeting will
include Lee and Donnafaye Has
kins and Wesley and Shirley Has
kins. .
Thanksgiving
Rites Planned
A special union service of
Thanksgiving sponsored by Klam
ath Falls youth groups, the Klam
ath Ministerial Association, the
Klamath Council of Churches, and
the Young Men's Christian Asso
ciation, will be held at 10:30 a.m.
on Thanksgiving Day, November
28. in the auditorium of Mills
School.
The Thanksgiving offering will
bp divided between the American
Bible Society and ' Share Your
Surplus." for overseas giving.

mittee making plans for the ser
mon and appropriate Thanksgiv
ing music by the choirs of partici

dancing and visiting were enjoyed
by members o! St. Joseph's and
their families.
Rev. Willman received many

sented him by members of the
Catholic Youth Organization, in
recognition of his many years of
faithful service.
