Aaron Boe, formerly commercial
manager for KFLW in Klamath
Falls and for about a year man
ager of KRNR at Roseburg, has
joined the commercial staff of
KVAL-TV, Eugene.
Boe was with KFLW for about
eight years. He left Roseburg
when the station was sold a
few weeks ago by the News-Re
view Publishing Company, to
James Doyle, who disposed of a

KRNR. Doyle had lived in Rose
burg previously and Mrs. Doyle
lived there with her parents prior
to her marriage to Doyle.

This Thursday, the second stu
dent body meeting was held. Presi
dent Cora Leitzke announced that
one fourth of the student body fund
will go to the Chimes, our Echool,
paper, and one fourth will go to
Coach Peter Budig for the athletic
fund.
The United Fund Drive is in full
swing here at the academy. The
sophomores sponsored a bene
fit dance Friday night in the gym.
Chaperones were Mrs. R. S. Wil
kenson, Mr. Peter Budig, and Mrs.
Bellotti; Rev. Alfred Fisher was
also a guest. During the week
contributions were freely made by
the students to this worthy -cause.'
The Mother's Club annual ham
dinner tickets, are now on sale.
The prices- are $1.50 for adults,
and 75 cents for children. It is
put on every year for the benefit
of the boys athletic fund.
Barbara Young, editor of the
'57 edition of the Atrian, announced
that the deadline for the snapshots
will be November 1.
Junior pictures were taken for
