Henley Home Unit Meets

Unit held ils first meeting of
the year on September 20 at Ml.
Laki Church. There were 15 mem
bers and three children present. A
business meeting was held in the
morning starting at 10:30 a.m.,
with Mrs. Charles DeLap, chair
man, presiding, assisted by Mrs.
W. P. Croft, vice chairman and
Mrs. H. W. Manning, secretary.

DORRIS Mr. and Mrs. A. K.
McLaughlin have sold their home
on Hazen Street to Mr. and Mrs.
It. E. Jones of Macdoel and have
bought a trailer house. They left
September 30 for Yreka, where
they will make their home.
McLaughlin was mayor of Dor
ris for about two years and re
signed to take the job of city
handyman. He Is now employed
at the Horse Creek Lumber Com
pany in Montague.
