DUNSMU1R Preparations to
welcome 200 delegates and mem
bers of the 1C Business and Profes
sional Women's clubs comprising
the northern district are being
completed by the Dunsmuir BPWC
this week
The northern district conference
will convene in Dunsmuir (or a
two-day session on Saturday with
registration commencing at noon.
A general session will be held at
the elementary school auditorium
at 2 p.m. followed by workshops on
a variety of subjects. i
Edith Kennedy of Los Angeles,
state program coordinator, will be
guest speaker at the banquet at
the Masonic Temple Saturday
night. Dr. H. A. Meredith, presi
dent of the Dunsmuir Chamber of
Commerce, will give the welcome
and Rev. Robert DeWolf, the in
vocation. Sunday's activities will include
breakfast for the presidents' coun
cil, program coordinators and
program chairmen.
LuDocia Ellis of Chico. first
vice president of the state of Cali
fornia, will sneak at the 12:30
luncheon at the Travelers Hotel
on Sunday. Lucille Gansberg, first
vice president of the northern dis
trict, will preside at this conclud
ing event.

Mack I. Timms. has opened an
office for the practice of surgical
chiropody and foot orthonedics at

Oakland. California. The doctor
held open bouse on September 9
Dr. Timms is a graduate of the
School of Chiropody, San r rancisco.
