Malin, the defending County B
League champions, will have the
weekend off, as Is the case with
Chiloquin. Gilchrist and Bly, the
two other county high schools, do
not participate in the league's
football schedule.
The Gem Stadium game, al
though not a league test, is ex
pected to be a thriller all of the
way. Henley, an A-2 school, and
Merrill have been supplying the
local tans with a first-class rivalry
through the past several seasons.
Henley was beaten last week by
Lakeview, while Merrill won a 6-0
battle from Chiloquin. .
This will be the first game of
the year for Bonanza and new
coach Hilary Stuevy. Sacred Heart
has one loss in their only outing
of the year, that a 12 0 defeat at
the hands of Malin last Saturday.
