new high school principal.
Teachers held over from last

et Molitor, Mrs. Frances Kocrlje,
and Miss Virginia Walton. Joining
them will be three new teachers:
Jim Chance, principal; Al Keck,
coach; and Caroline King, com
mercial department and girl's
physical education.
A potluck dinner for all the high
school and elementary teachers and
school personnel was held on Tues
day evening, September 11. A
teachers' reception is also being
planned, the date to be announced
later.

Minister Nehru today denounced
Western plans to create a Suez
Canal users' association.
He said he was "surprised" by
British Prime Minister Eden's
statement yesterday in the House
of Commons and declared the
consequences would be very
grave," because it closed the door
to further negotiations with Egypt
ana implied an intention to impose
a settlement.
Speaking in a Parliament ses
sion, Nehru said he had told Eden
and President Eisenhower that
Egypt's proposal to create a ne
gotiating agency opened the way
to a settlement.
"I have In the last few days
communicated to Prime Minister
Eden and President Eisenhower
that the situation after the Men
lies mission and the statement by
Egypt accepting all International
obligations and Inviting negotia
tions opened the way for a settle
ment," Nehru said.
He added that India appealed
to all concerned to accept this sit
uation and seek the "path of
peace" and that ho hoped his ap
peal would "not be in vain."
