LAKEVIEW On completion of
the 4-H Golden Eagles Club at
Summer Lake, two of the five
members earned outstanding
awards, announced Lee Hansen,
4-H county agent.
Linda Ptnington. secretary,
placed first in the 4-H coumy sec
retary contest and this was won
while she was 8 years old in the
4th grade. Another member, Alia
Lee Pemoll won the Rotary Club
wild bird award and was present
ed with a fountain pen.
The club activities Included iden
tifying songbirds, wild game and
making scrapbooks. Mrs. Hubert

First Honors Jack Marshall,
Klamath Falls student at Califor
nia State Polytechnic College at
San Luis Obispo, took first place
honors In saddle bronc riding at
the recent Intercollegiate Rodeo at
Eugene. A member of Cal Polys
Rodeo Club, he also ranked second
in all-around individual placings.
Marshall Is a junior majoring in
animal husbandry at the college.
