At AAUW Luncheon Meeting

versity Women met Saturday, Jan
uary 21, for the regular luncheon
meeting at the Wlllard Hotel
A touch of spring was featured
in the novel table decorations ar
ranged by Mrs. Robert Smith and
her committee members, Mrs.
John Vale, Mrs. Lloyd Frantz
and Mrs. Eric Majors. Clever, col
ored mobiles using various types
of designs in bright shades on
bases of acacia centered the ta

February 11 was announced as
the date for the annual spring mu-
slcnle to be presented at Mills
School Auditorium. Participants
will include the a oappella choir
from Klamath Union High School
and a duo-nlano team, Mrs. Sam
Mushen and Ruth Lobaugh. There
is no admission charge and the
publio is urged to attend.
Mrs. victor O Neill, who gave a
short talk on the White House Con
ference which she recently attend
ed as a delegate, said that she
felt Oregon was fortunate In hav
ing the school system that it
has, and Is faced with many less
problems than are confronting
some of the other states.

ed his talk with various types of
cartoons and illustrations which
were both informative and high

Gordon Kensler, supervisor of
art education in the Klamath Falls

ious phases of modern art. He
traced the history of art through
the ages and told how and why
various changes have taken place
in our concent 01 art. Following
